Professional Woman Of The Year!!!

The winners in this year’s Gloucestershire Women of the Year Awards were announced recently at a glittering ceremony held at the Cheltenham Racecourse on June 1st. Inspirational women working across the county in a huge variety of businesses and roles were honoured at this showpiece event.

The awards were presented by BBC Points West TV presenter Alex Lovell alongside Sarah Pullen, Managing Director of Trinity Mirror publishers.

The atmosphere was electric and celebrating soon began in earnest – particularly here at The Finance Roome when our very own Ellen Roome was announced Professional of the Year! A fabulous accolade and very well deserved –  huge congratulations Ellen. This could be the start of something – let’s hope we soon need to erect a special shelf here in the office for award display purposes! Watch this space everyone………

An overwhelmed Ellen was heard to say afterwards “I can’t believe it I am so pleased –  this has to be our year! Thanks to everyone who supported me particularly my wonderful team in the office. I couldn’t have done it without you all”
