MEET ELLEN!

We have undergone some changes here at The Finance Roome this year. So we thought it might be  time for you to see who we are and learn a little more about what we do.  To begin with please meet Ellen Roome our CEO

Ellen is clearly the Boss – her mug says so! But she also has other responsibilities here at the office. With over 20 years of experience in Financial Services, Ellen has an in-depth and thorough understanding of all areas of Financial Advice and genuinely cares about finding clients the best products at the most competitive prices. She has had experience in Estate Agency-based mortgage advice, tied advice with Nat West and independent whole of market advice with John Charcol in London. She also holds an ILEX legal qualification in Housing, Finance and Family and, whilst she isn’t a solicitor, her knowledge of these legal processes has proved invaluable.
Ellen specializes in Buy To Let Portfolios, Business Protection and Equity Release and thrives on complex financial challenges. She will find you a mortgage where thousands fail – tenacity should be her middle name!

We asked Ellen the following three questions –

1. When did you set up The Finance Roome?  2006 so we have been going some time now
2. What do you like best about working here?   My boss is pretty good!!!
3. Who makes the best tea?   I have to say that since my team all know that I like coffee before 12 and tea in the afternoon they must all be very good at making drinks. I do make a fair few too though.
