Ellen Roome

CEO & Financial Adviser

With over 23 years of experience in Financial Services, Ellen has an in-depth and thorough understanding of all areas of Financial Advice. She genuinely cares about finding clients the best products at the most competitive prices. She has had experience in Estate Agency-based mortgage advice, tied advice with Nat West and independent whole of market advice with John Charcol in London. She also holds an ILEX legal qualification in Housing, Finance and Family. Whilst Ellen isn’t a solicitor, her knowledge of these legal processes has proved invaluable.

Ellen specialises in Actors, Buy To Let Portfolios, Business Protection and Equity Release and thrives on complex financial challenges. Tenacity should be her middle name!

Tricia Cooke

PA to Ellen & Operations Manager

Tricia is a very experienced Personal Assistant with nearly 30 years in Financial Services. Utilising this vast experience, she oversees the operations of the Company and especially the super important accounting functions. She also expertly supports  Ellen Roome as her PA. Tricia has been Ellen’s right hand woman for some 19 years now and is an invaluable member of the team. Tricia loves travel and spends as many weekends as she can exploring other cultures.

Ricky Naylor

Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Ricky joined our team back in 2019 and has hit the ground running! He had taken a back seat from the finance world to start a family and is the proud father to two twin boys. With over 10 years’ experience in financial services, Ricky came back to the finance world as not only a Mortgage Adviser but is also our Specialist Insurance Adviser with vast knowledge to look after our clients.


In Ricky’s spare time- when he’s not running around after his boys, he’s running after a football!

Barry Ireland

Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Barry started working in Financial Services in 2003, in Belfast. More recently, he has been applying his independent mortgage advising skills as one of the top advisers for the consumer association Which? Later for Mortgage Style too. He has expertise in every type of mortgage you can think of and cares passionately about finding solutions to all his customers’ mortgage needs.

Barry is also a fully qualified Personal Trainer. In his spare time enjoys mountaineering, skiing, surfing, climbing, rugby and golf… all to balance off his love of food. Fittingly, he is from Ireland!

Chris Henry

Chris has been in financial services for 21 years, started in banking with RBS, then as a mortgage broker. He has most recently been a bank manager for TSB but decided he missed the fun of being a mortgage broker so came to work for us! Chris is very passionate about customer service as he believes this is the key to  great business relationships.

In his spare time Chris enjoys cooking and watching rugby. He also likes to travel when he gets a chance.

Noleen has many years of experience in the banking industry having previously worked for TSB and Santander.  She has experience of dealing with personal banking and personal mortgages. She is very customer focused and always strives to provide the best customer service possible. Noleen lives locally in Cheltenham. When she’s not at work you may well find her painting and she has two beautiful black cats!

Georgina Scot-Simmonds

Case Handler

Georgina has joined us as the administrator who looks after clients after applying an on to completion.  A confident lady who is focused on getting your mortgage through as quickly as possible. She is passionate about working here and always goes the extra mile for our clients.

Georgina is kept really busy when she isn’t working with her three children and two cats. She loves to socialise and can often be found organising staff nights out.

Luke Damagnez

Case Handler

After a very successful year working here as our Apprentice, Luke has opted to take up permanent employment with us. He is now a full time administrator. Luke has a keen interest in the financial service industry, hence opting to join us and he is looking to progress far.

When Luke isn’t practising his team making skills in the office and continuing to learn as much as he can about our industry, he is a keen footballer and has a strong interest in sports generally. He also likes to socialise well at weekends!

Vicky has joined our team as our part-time administrator.  Having worked in Financial Services on and off for 14 years, she has decided that now she has 2 children under the age of 2, she’d like the opportunity to work part-time with us, whilst still being the main childcare provider for her boys. In her spare time….. only joking, she doesn’t have any spare time! 😊

Sam Rowe

Client Engagement

Sam has joined our busy processing team to liaise with clients, lenders and solicitors to assist in your mortgage and insurance applications to speed through as quickly as possible.  Sam comes from a retail management background and has a wealth of knowledge in the customer service sector. She has two beautiful children and a lovely dog called Dolly. When Sam’s not in the office, you’ll find her baking treats for the office or having a family walk up Leckhampton Hill!

Wanted Kickstart Scheme – Office Support worker

Duties and responsibilities of an Office Support worker

You will be expected to:

  • Unload the dishwasher in the morning
  • Scanning documents
  • Uploading scanned files to our back-office system
  • Greet visitors
  • Learn systems and staying up to date on upgrades and procedural changes
  • Ability to retrieve information held on computer systems to generate reports
  • Shredding
  • Scheduling meeting rooms
  • Providing refreshments to the team and clients

Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30 till 1:30pm
