Charity Airport Open Day

Are you interested in planes and aviation? Are you aware of the excellent facilities at our local airport in Gloucestershire? Why not come along to the year’s Charity Open Day on July 8th.

The Open Day is held annually in aid of the amazing little-known charity Fly To Help. In a nutshell, Fly To Help is an aviation charity dedicated to raising the spirits of people, young and old, living in difficult personal situations. It also aims to inspire young people as they consider their future lives and careers. Everything looks better from above the clouds where skies are blue. Leaving our worries on the ground gives us the freedom to look at the world from a fresh perspective!

Come and see what goes on at your airport – hangars will be open and pleasure flights on offer. There will be food stalls, entertainment for the children and some vintage planes flying past –  so long as the weather is good to us. The Finance Roome  are delighted to support this charity in its endeavours and we will be there rattling our collecting tins. Come and say hello, we will be easy to recognise in our bright pink T-shirts! All this is FREE – just drop some money in our tins to show your appreciation. Everything collected goes to support this fabulous cause.
